From a tree which was collected in Switzerland in 1983

Wolfgang Kaeflein has collected this one in Switzerland. For a few years this was considered the best bonsai pine from indigenous material in Germany. I acquired it in 1990 and restyled it in 1992 at the German Convention in Duesseldorf. Now it is becoming mature and is one of the few mugo pines in Europe that has this dense foliage where one has to cut out needle pads because it becomes too dense. This is the problem one wants to have. The branches must not look like poodles.
