I can offer a CD with all the contents of the original Bonsai 'Gallery of Walter Pall as of 07/15/2008.

So why should one purchase a CD if the exact same contents are available online? Well, first of all it's the speed and ease of access. With a CD in your computer you can access all files very quickly and reliably. Especially if you don't have fast access to the net this is invaluable. If you want it still faster you load the whole contents of the CD on your PC. It will take quite a while. But then you can operate it from there (click onto the index button) and you get the images instantly. Another reason is that you don't have to copy images one by one from the net anymore. I wish you good luck with 8,000 images if you load them per hand. And then, it is not a given that the contents of my gallery will always be freely available as they are at the moment. Some folks just want a souvenir, an item from Walter Pall. Many have asked me about a book. Well, one does not write books anymore on paper, one produces a CD. Here it is.

The gallery on CD contains almost 8,000 images. All images in this gallery are copyright by Walter Pall; all rights reserved. The images are for your personal use only. Duplication and reproduction are prohibited. This CD requires Windows or Macintosh computer with CD-ROM drive. It should open automatically: Tested on Windows XP, Opera, Firefox ....In case the CD does not open automatically find "index.html" and click to open. Some files are very large and will take time to load. If speed is important the CD should be loaded onto the hard drive and operated from there. The CD will run on Mac; you have to click onto "index.html " Attention: it is possible that this CD only functions with soem problems with Linux! If you order a CD I will try to send it as soon as possible. Maximum time before sending should be one week. Orders are shipped from Germany to outside Europe with International First Class mail (used to be Air Mail). Normally you should get an email confirmation for your order before shipment. For those of you who elect to order via the Web, credit cards are processed by PayPal, my credit card processor. A few things to pay attention to: If you have or have had a PayPal account associated with your email address and credit card, the ordering system will use the address associated with that account and you must use that account (PayPal says this is for security reasons). Make sure your PayPal address is current before ordering. If you have a PayPal account and don't want to use it, you normally have to use an email address and credit card not associated with your PayPal account. If you don't have a PayPal account, the system should work much like any other credit card processing, though you'll be given the opportunity to start a PayPal account at the end of the process. If you want to ship to a different address than your billing address, when you're offered the chance to create a Note, do so and put the shipping address in the Note field. In Europe many folks don't have a credit card or don't want to use it. They can easily transfer from their normal bank account into their PayPal account and then pay from there. Why do I not just give you my account and bank number? Well, obviously for security reasons. I don't want to know your number and you will never know my number. But with PayPal both get what they want. And we don't have to fuss with currencies and transfer and exchange rates and fees etc.. Sorry, I cannot accept any checks at the moment.
